Review of Sonata For A Scoundrel by Anthea Lawson

This is the first book that read from this author and it will definetely will not be the last.  I loved the story.  The plot is well written with the historically accurate misconceptions that most men had of women in this period.  Musical Composition was a man's domain only and any women who attempted to write music was derided and ignored.  The characters are well written and sometimes very exasperating, which is how it should be. If all the characters were nice and well adjusted it would make for a very boring read.

Anthea's prose and lyrical style is a pleasure to read.  I recommend anyone who loves historical romance read this book.
