ARC Review of The Irresistible Rogue by Valerie Bowman

Daphne and Rafe are secretly married to help her brother Donald catch traitors to the crown. Donald is killed during the mission and now Rafe wants Daphne to reprise her role as his cabin boy and catch the traitors who killed his friend and Daphne's brother. Daphne regrets her adventure for many reasons and wants nothing to do with Capt Rafe or anymore adventure. All it causes is heartache and loss. She wants to marry and have a family and she knows she cannot stay married to Rafe because of his social status so she is going to marry an social climbing Baron who will cause her no heartache. Rafe promises Daphne with an annulment if she will help him one more time. She gives in to Rafe's pleas and the adventure begins. This is the 4th book in the Secret Brides series and just as wonderful as the first two. Valeries hero and heroine are both strong, stubborn individuals who test each other. They are both loyal, brave. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves Historical Romance
