ARC Review of A Good Rogue is Hard to Find by Kelly Bowen

I loved this book!!! I laughed so hard and cried a little too. The plot was unique and interesting with a great story about the severe differences that occurred in the classes in Regency England. How by one aristocrat not paying his tailor bill a young man could die in the slums of London fighting for a loaf of bread. This wasn't just another HAE romance novel, this book had a message that applies today as well. The crusade that Eleanor and Jenna take on encompassed love, compassion, charity and most of all kindness and redemption. Will has his eyes opened to the injustices that his class have inflicted on the less fortunate and falls in love with the women who, along with his mother is stealing back what is owed them. There is a beautiful love story and a touching story of a son and a mother getting to know each other again. I really enjoyed Kelly's writing and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

ARC Review of A Scoundrel By Moonlight by Anna Campbell.

Love can overcome anything!!! That is one of the reasons I love Anna Campbells books. They are always true love Stories.  No matter what the characters go through, where they come from Anna always makes sure that you feel the love that the characters feel and the love that she herself puts into her writing. This story is a lesson in believing in yourself and making your own decisions no matter what everyone else says, and knowing that even though the obstacles that you are going to face are formiable, love will conquer all and making yourself and the people you love happy is all that matters.  You only live once and you cannot take in to account what other people will think.  Eleanor takes a position in the house of the man who she thinks seduced her sister who died trying to deliver his baby.  She is looking for proof but when she meets him, she finds that she likes him and he doesn't seem to be the heartless seducer that her sister described.  Leath knows there is something not quite right about his mother's new companion, and he doesn't trust her, but he is also attracted to her at the same time.  As they spend more time together they both find their suspiscions of each other disappearing are they become more attracted to each other.  It takes a villian and near death experience for both of them to realize their feelings for each other. As with all Anna's books, I read this one in one night and now have to wait forever for another book by her.  Anna is one of the best in the industry and you cannot miss this or any of her books.

ARC Review of The Daring Exploits of a Runaway Heiress by Victoria Alexander

Another great addition to the Millworth Manor series with an Effington as the hero.  Fast paced with lots of action, the plot is well thought out and beautifully written as always by Victoria.  I especially love the humor that she writes in all of her books.  Lucy Merryweather is an American in London with an agenda,  lots of spirit, daring and recklessness that add up to trouble for Cameron Effington.

Cameron is the son of a Duke and even though he has a trust fund he wants to make his own way in the world as a writer.  His father doesn't like the idea and challenges Cameron to write a book in a specified amount of time.  Cameron takes the challenge and goes looking for inspiration and finds Lucy Merryweather and the fun begins.  This is another amazingly funyy, inspirational love story by Victoria Aleander that is a must read. Do not miss it!!!

Received ARC for an honest review.

Review of The Devilish Mr. Danvers by Vivienne Lorret

This is my favorite book so far in the Rakes of Fallow Hall series by Vivienne.  The story is touching and I admit that I cried a couple of times.  Hedley Sinclair has been abused and locked up by her family most of her life and she is finally free.  She goes to the house that her Grandfather had left her in his will.  It is in terrible condition but she will make it her own and finally be free of her family and the pain and anguish that has haunted her whole life so far.  She will do anything she has to do to stay free.

Rafe Danvers is a man on a mission, to get back the estate that his family lost years ago when he was stood up at the altar by Ursa Sinclair, Hedley's older sister.  Rafe hates all Sinclairs, or so he thought. Then he meets Hedley who has has a heart of gold and is nothing like the rest of her greedy viscous family.

This is truly beautiful love story of two people who help each other overcome devastating events in heir life to find a happily ever after.  What is great about Vivienne's writing is that you become emotionally invested in the lives of her characters that you feel like you are part of the story.  She also gives you glimpses into he next boo in the series, which I cannot wait to read.  LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
