Review of Wedding Night with the Earl by Amelia Grey

This is the first Amelia Grey book that I have read and reviewed.  It is a story about a man who lost his first wife and child in childbirth and has vowed never to remarry and have children.  Then he meets the young woman of his dreams and cannot seem to stay away from her.  She is a beautiful young woman who was injured when she was a child in a carriage accident that takes the life of her whole family.

She lives with her uncles and aunt who love her but are overprotective of her lingering injury and she has become complacent and has never really tried to go beyond her supposed limitations.   Adam pushes her in ways no one else has and she realizes she is stronger than she thought.  They fall in love but can they have a HAE when he has vowed never to remarry and sire any children because he cannot be responsible for dying in childbirth.  She is adamant that she wants many children and wants to name them after her sisters and brother that she lost when she was younger.  Katherine will not back down and refuses to marry a man who doesn’t want children.  She is going to accept the proposal of another gentleman.  Will Adam let someone one else bed and marry the woman he loves, can he go back on the vow he made to himself all those years ago?   Will Katharine really marry someone she doesn’t love just to have children?

This is a very emotional satisfying read.  The characters are amazing and the story is charming, witty and clever.  Amelia writes a captivating love story that will keep you turning the pages to the very end.
