ARC Review of Once upon a Moonlit Night by Elizabeth Hoyt

Another beautiful, hot, sexy historical romance from Elizabeth.  This novella is a wonderful way to spend an evening.  If you have read her Maiden Lane Series you will recognize the heroine Hippolyta Royle from The Duke of Sin.  The biggest matrimonial catch in England with a secret that would ruin her.

The book opens with Hippolyta lost in wilderness after she has escaped her kidnapper.  She is cold, dirty and she can hear the hounds that are chasing her.  She stumbles across a carriage coming down the road and begs for help.  The occupant is Matthew Mortimer who has just returned from India because he has inherited a bankrupted Earldom.  He is not happy and now he has a filthy girl who says she is a lady and needs to get to London.  He thinks she is an actress and she thinks he is rude, insufferable and not very nice.

And the adventure begins.  This is another brilliant, well crafted story with admirable characters that will have you reading non-stop til the end.  Another bonus to Elizabeth's books are the fairy tales that run throughout the book at the beginning of each chapter.

I loved it and you will too!!!
