Review of The Debutante Is Mine by Vivienne Lorret

Wonderful Book, Loved it!!!  This is my new favorite by Viv Lorret.  The story is unique and beautifully written.  Vivienne has a lovely flow to her writing that I really enjoy.  There is no emotional angst, but the emotions and feelings that the two main protagonists go through are really genuine, witty and the love that blooms is enthralling.

Jack is a Bastard who hates everything to do with high Society and Lilah has to find a titled husband before the end of the season.  If she doesn't, her father's will states that she will have to marry her smarmy, abusive cousin and she will do anything to prevent that.  With a little help from friends she transforms herself. However along the way she and Jack find that they have feelings for each other.

Jack doesn't want Lilah to marry anyone, but he doesn't want to marry period.  Lilah wants to marry Jack but she can't because he doesn't have a title.  The Story gets better and better as the book progresses.  Will Jack find a way to marry the woman he has come to love?

You have to read this book, it is worth your time and money.

Review of The Redemption of Julian Price by Victoria Vane

A very engaging and lovely novella by Victoria.  I was hooked from the first paragraph.  This is the story of two people who have known each other most of their lives.  Henrietta was just one of the boys when she was younger, now she  is a young lady who has had a Season and did not take.  So now she is watching all of her siblings getting married and does not want to end up a spinster dependent of her brother.

Julian comes home from the war alone, his best friend died and he feels that it should have been him.  He feels guilty that he survived.  His uncle has left him penniless and he will have to sell everything to satisfy his creditors and then he has no choice but to go back to Portugal as a Soldier of Fortune,or so he believes.

Henrietta has a plan but will Julian go along with it?

Victoria has written a very compelling story that you can sit down and read in one night.  The sensual scenes are hot and the love story is wonderful.

Review of Forbidden Nights with the Viscount by Julia Justiss

The beginning of another great series from Julia Justiss.  This is the story of a young wife who loses the love of her life in a carriage accident.  She is devastated at the loss of her husband and knows that she never find anyone to replace him in her heart.  She decides to become her father's political hostess for the Tories and help his cause.   Lady Margaret is a superb political hostess and has found an outlet for the passion she denies herself.

Giles Hadley is a Whig who has been fighting for reform and getting his parties Reform Bill passed into Law.
He has no interest in getting married after his father divorced his mother for infidelity.  He has no interest in Love but Lust is a different matter, and when he meets Lady Margaret the electricity that sparks between them is immediate and shocking.

He decides to pursue an affair with her and is floored when she is the one who suggests an affair.

Julia writes a beautiful love story with really steamy sex.  I loved both these characters.  They are both afraid of falling in love, but no matter how they try to avoid it, well you know.  Add Giles's step brother who is jealous of them and a will stop at nothing to tear them apart.  This is a lovely story that will make you happy and inpatient for the next book in The Hadley's Hellions Series.
