Book Blast for Lady Pirate by Lynsay Sands

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Lynsay Sands never disappoints...a gorgeous new look for one of her classic, fan-favorite historical romances...

Valoree no longer has to masquerade as her murdered brother and scourge the oceans as Captain Red. She no longer has to command his pirate band in a quest to regain his birthright. She has been named heir to Ainsley Castle. But no executor would ever hand over the estate to an unmarried pirate wench and her infamous crew—no matter to whom she’d been born. And the will distinctly states that in order to inherit, Valoree must be married to a nobleman...and pregnant.

Upon learning that, the virgin captain is ready to return to the seas—but her crew has other ideas—and for those rascally cusses she would do anything. If they could find a way to put on her a sweet face that would fool the ton, she would handle the rest, even with a drunken prostitute as an “aunt” and her merry cutthroat crew as “servants.” But to herself she swears one thing: she will only marry a man who fires her blood, a man who is not afraid of a ...Lady Pirate.

A Gentleman Never Tells Blog Tour by Eloisa James

A Gentleman Never Tells
By Eloisa James

A witty, sexy novella about a virgin widow and a rake with something to prove.

Eighteen months ago, Lizzie Troutt’s husband died in his mistress’s bed, leaving her determined to never marry again….and unfortunately virginal.

Eighteen years ago (give or take a few) the Honorable Oliver Berwick blackened his own soul, leaving him hardened and resolutely single.

When the chance for redemption in the form of a country house party invitation comes his way, Oliver is determined to prove himself a gentleman.

Until he breaks all the codes of gentlemanly behavior…once again.

ELOISA JAMES is a New York Times best-selling author and professor of English literature who lives with her family in New York, but can sometimes be found in Paris or Italy. She is the mother of two and, in a particularly delicious irony for a romance writer, is married to a genuine Italian knight. Visit her at

Review of A Gentlman Never Tells by Eloisa James

Having read everything Eloisa James has written I can only say that she has done it again.  I love that this novella has it's roots in the Essex Sisters novels.

Oliver has grown up and become an honorable gentleman who has fallen in love with the most unlikely woman.  Lizzie is a virgin widow who was sold into marriage by her merchant father for a title.  Now her pig of a husband is dead and all she wants is to be left alone with her Gothic novels.

But her sister Cat has different plans for Lizzie.  Cat wants her sister to be happy and challenges Oliver to make her laugh again.  I can tell you that I laughed at all the witty, funny banter.  Oliver is the perfect person to bring Lizzie out of her self inflicted isolation and to reenter the world.  This was a wonderful, affirming story of love, laughter and HAE's.

I enjoyed this novella very much.

Review of Stranded With The Scottish Earl by Anna Campbell

I have always adored Anna Campbell's books and this one is no exception.  This novella is now one of my favorites of all time.  Anna captures the heart and soul of her readers with her beautiful style.

Ewan is the perfect hero.  He is strong, handsome, intelligent, compassionate and even though he is all male, he is not afraid to show his tender side. I cannot even count how many time I sighed at his actions or words in this story.  If only he were real!!  He was the ideal gentleman to unlock our heroine's heart.

Charlotte had been engaged before to a childhood friend who wanted her to change everything she was if she was to become his wife.  She is a strong young lady who knows what she wants and has no intention of letting any man tell her what to do.  Then Ewan shows up and her world is turned upside down.  Is he the man to finally melt her resistance to marriage and can she open her heart and trust him not to break it?

This novel is only 99 cents!!  It will be the best 99 cents you ever spent.  I recommend this book with my whole heart.  You will fall in love with Ewan just like I did.

ONCE UPON A MOONLIT NIGHT by Elizabeth Hoyt (July 5, 2016; Forever Yours Ebook; A Maiden Lane Series Novella)

From New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth Hoyt comes a delightful Maiden Lane novella that begins once upon a moonlit night---and ends wickedly, wonderfully ever after . . .

Hippolyta Royle is running for her life. Pursued by hounds on a cold rainy night, the heiress flags down a passing carriage and throws herself at the mercy of the coach's occupant. Whoever this handsome traveler may be, he is her only hope to escape a terrible fate. But should he agree to escort her to safety, he's in for much more than he bargained for . . .

At first Matthew Mortimer doesn't believe Hippolyta's story, that she's a fabulously wealthy heiress who's been kidnapped. He assumes she's a beggar, an actress, or worse. But once his new travel companion washes the mud from her surprisingly lovely face, and they share a breathtaking kiss, there is no turning back . . .
